Gang is not a technical player and not good for test matches! Currently india needs a technically strong batsmen as coach for improving our test record! Definitely a big NO for Ganguly
As Ganguly was a popular captain who did magnificient job in introducing winning instinct among players and cementing close ties between players, he would be the ideal coach.

Good suggestion. About Ganguly, it is not about just handling seniors but also how his techniques in batting stands. He himself was not successful in test as a batsmen. We dont want some one authoritive as coach but someone technically good in batting.
No, not a right combination. they had differences. Dhoni got way for seniors outstered from ODI. It will be another chappell-ganguly like episode. i think they should have someone like Robin Singh.
the videshi coach is result of deeper colonization. india has serious issue with developing raw talent when we dont unite under desi coach and respect one another to develop our raw talent all over the desh. we could have multiple teams i.e team A, team B,...it is possible that one day team C and beat team A if talent is developed properly.

india has serious issue with developing raw talent. There is marked difference from pakistan which can harness it's raw talent. While india degrades it's raw talent. Why? India have 4-5 severe poles of division such as punju, tamil, marathi, East centric and religion. Anyone outside those pole will not be developed or harnessed and degraded. Whereas the colonialist British who divided indian among various ethnic, language and religion lines to rule HAD TENDENCY to exploit talent for their own benefit. RESULT, usage of panesar and samit patel in india by british like well trained dogs to smell the mud and exploit. One india origin batsmen was left out because he had no use in india. But south-african peitersena and trott was used. THAT IS ANGREZ BRAIN, how they groomed gandhi, nehru and jinnah for their purposes and projected them as Indian cause when they were serving videshi cause even after so called independence(multiple videshi blocks of power). That is difference between colonized and imperialist mindset. WHEREAS INDIANS dont have that tendency to develop and benefit. We are too keen to be divided to fail another. example, punjus can live undetected among non-punjus be it punjab or india yet cut them from within to serve punju cause by playing various cards of language, religion, etc. AND, WE HAVE VIDESHI COACH In divided minded desh. We have less respect for one another. See how punju is so keen to exploit division of north/south/east/west as much any of the north/south/east/west would. Thanks to deep impact of colonization that pant/shirt is more acceptable than fellow indian or his raw talent.
