If you take away two remarkable performances- 12 wkts and 224, there is no difference between the teams. The conditions were not favoring only one side if the rest 20 players were on equal footing. This suggests that the series is still wide open and only the consistent will win finally!
Great batsmen get runs anywhere, on any pitch ( e.g. Cook, Clarke et al). And great bowlers get wickets any where, on any pitch ( latest example is Pattinson). So all of us will be better of by nurturing good cricketers into great cricketers, instead of indulging in this meaningless/ fruitless / useless arguments, which do not take any one any where! If a pitch lasts well for 5 days, it give opportunities to good batsmen to score decent totals, and bowlers of all breed to get wickets, and as a bonus if we can also get a result by the 5th day, I think, we should all be satisfied. How it will be achieved will vary from country to country. That is a fact, no one can change. We should be satisfied with that, enjoy such tests, and move on.

if jadeja can be called test material looking at the way he batted in the 1st innings, even changulal halwai can be called test material.

Jadeja first class record is awesome. Batting average is above 52 and bowling aveage is around 27.

But better than tendi. tendi got out when the pitch started turning . hendriques reamined not out when the pitch had completely deterioted. Even clarke played better than tendi

but you forgot tendliya played many such heroic innings against pace/med pace./ spin/ all over the world before and he scored many centuries, he does not any help from pitch or bowlers..when he bat he rules..understood..?
