I sort of agree with him. If Jadeja can come good with bat, he has shown in one day's coming down the order that he can bat, as well in Ranji (only yardstick) we have, he has scored runs. Three spinners in 14 fighting for 2 spots will be good for team. Kohli, Pujara are settling down in batting order, with Sachin showing some form again. Though this match was won based on a freak (excellent) innings from Dhoni. Challenges of opening, and in case Aussies figure out how to play Ashwin still remain big for remaining series. Frankly looking forward to a good series between two teams with decent talent under transition.
"If Dhoni bats at No.6 in SA, it could allow Ind to play an All-rounder or someone like Jadeja at No.7, Of course Jadeja has to up his own batting"....... That means Dravid himself knows that Mr.Jadeja is not Proper batsman....... still he wants Dhoni to take such...... a big Gamble in SA conditions....... That's when Gauti & Viru r out of form...... and no one knows whether Sachin will play till "2014"...... Our Fast-bowlers are also Struggling...... Team full of of Youngsters...... still Dravid & other Former cricketers...... want Ind that relies heavily on batting to play just 6 Batsmen????.....
He thinks that Mr.Jadeja will be able to cope with Pace & Bounce on SA pitches....... He will play Short-pitch stuff better than Dhoni at No.7....... That's a Joke!!!!........ Fact is that on Pacy wickets...... his Part-time Spin Bowling..... will be hammered to all parts of the ground....... Jadeja himself will be hammered by SA Fast-bowlers...... Ind relies a lot on batting...... Having just 6 batsmen including Dhoni...... on SA pitches...... will be risky....

more than risky, i guess it will be a disaster. there will only be sachin (if he lasts long) and dhoni who have some experience on SA pitches. looking at the present trend, it will be a miracle of Sehwag/Gambhir will last so long.

Not only in SA both Dhoni and Jadeja will fail in Australia and England need Manoj Tiwari at number 6 else India will continue to loose overseas and should not include Raina as he is even worse than jadeja.
No.6 batsmen were thrown out of the team (Yuvraj & Raina)so he batted at 6 coz there was no batsman left after Kohli than Himself. He has not changed anything. *Another comment not related to topic Everyone saying India is going through Transition !! WTF Only two batsman retired (Dravid,Laxman)due to continuos poor perfomance for years except few series.. Team management was ready to throw them.. Australia justifies Tranision.. All their bestest retired at their best all at a time still strong enough..

It is likely that the fast bowlers are not injured and want to play for the IPL. With all the fast bowlers playing in the IPL because of the cash involved.
If the IPL money causes the BCCI to drop fast bowling option then Umesh Yadav, Zaheer .. all are playing for the cash rich IPL and not the Dhoni Spinning team.
India's needs about 100 billion dollars for Olympic hosts and 50 billion per year on tourism.
The Ministry of Tourism and sports have to intervene so that the BCCI the IPL are in sync
1. Dhoni cannot win overseas, likes spin bowling 2. Fast bowling and Openers are discouraged and fitness issues 3. Our Olympic programs have no money and have fitness issues 4. Since no Olympic medals and no overseas cricket wins 5. Creates problem with TOURISM and IPL money wasted 6. No 50 million tourist market because of no sports culture

India needs Olympics by 2020 or 2024. If the IPL and spinners dominated the 2020 Olympic programs will get discouraged.
The 2020 Olympics if India hosts by 2020 generated tourism market of about 50 billion dollars. Also the hosts will spend 100 billion like China did for 2020 or 2024 Olympic hosts.
