Kaif and Jaffer are better than most of the others we have ... also Murali Karthik is probably the most experienced spinner in the country. They deserve a look in.
it is amusing to see Md Kaif's name in the discussion. He is not even cond=sidered by the loca/domestic teams. remember being sent back even by the Rajasthan Team. He has pass his sell by date.

Mr. Faishal, U have taken the names of Jaffer and Kaif,
I think u should also have included, future players like Sarfaraz and Armaan, and oldies like Zaheer and Munaf, and Pathan Brothers and spinners like Abdulla

on merit even dhoni will also not get chance in any local team. Send him to ranji trphy. he will fail there also
i think in every domestic test series, the players who performed well against the touring team shd be given chances just like those two spinners in india-a team, atleast two players shd be included in test team specially for that home series
as the writer of this article is a M and he talks abt selecting a M player, its obvious some select band of -warrriors- will take this opportunity to settle their -score-
Looks like Wasim Jaffer is required to please the personal satisfaction of some individuals. He is in good form though but the selection committee though otherwise.
