kirsten has requested for seaming track for the next test. the spin friendly track in the previous test with ajmal taking 10 wickets scared the south africans and their coach gary kirsten.
like dhoni kirsten also wants pitches as per demand. but while dhoni requested a pitch which will be competitive and balanced for both sides (taking out the home advantage) kirsten wants such a pitch that is not helpful to spinners like akmal because sa have no good spinners but seamers track which will help steyn philander morkel etc. wonder what cricket fans think of this kirsten demand...

when people like kirsten ''request'' it has to be read as ''demand''...it is just a formality...their request is to be considered as demand...
further dhoni also ''requested'' or ''demanded'' after winning...we had won 3 consecutive tests when dhoni made that demand...2 against nz and 1 against eng...
we were certainly not lsoing left and right as you claim...

btw we have also ''proved ourselves'' on their pitches..forget the famous test after the monkey gate incident...we won at perth where aus were supposedly invincible...same against sa in sa when we won the 2nd tests and squared the series 1-1

thus we also won matches (3 tests in succession) and the made rules ...or rather demanded ''fair pitch'' where the home advantage will be nullified...

so what? it was long ago that south africa could not win matches. it is like keeping dhoni as a captain and sachin as a batsman because india won some cup in 2008 or 2009.
south africa has defeated australia in australia and won the series. dhoni's father,mother, all put together cannot even dream of doing such a task. so keep you lololol to yourself.
winning against pak team is very good. you cannot know the importance because you never watched the second test between sa and pak.

against aus in india dhoni has captained in 4 tests and it is 4 out of 4 for dhoni and 0 out 4 for ponting...dhoni once whitewashed ponting's aus team 2-0...the other time it was a 4 test series, 2 tests captained by kumble and 2 by dhoni....the 2 tests in which kumble captained both were drawn...the other 2 tests dhoni captained and we won both...btw kumble did not play in those 2 tests..
also dhoni was MOM in one test against ponting's aussie team with scores of 92 and 92 not out...

LOLOLOL, Sorry for Vaidya but superb reply by Neelamegham. Even with ajmal's 10 wicket haul SA won the match. Kirsten's justification was simple "When we go to other countries, we play the type of cricket that they want to play. When we're at home we like to the play cricket we want to play".
Poor Vaidya thinks dhoni is criticized for asking rank turners. On the contrary, the inability of Indian batsmen on pacy & bouncy wickets are the reason they are criticized.

You are criticising the inability of Indian batsmen on pacy & bouncy wickets... yes... i can understand that...sehwag, gambhir, sachin, dravid laxman...yes very well said i agree with you...they were all exposed during the whitewashes...why only the above legends... even previous generation legends like gavaskar, vishwanath, amarnath, vengsarkar etc. came back as losers on most foreign tours...because of such a long list of illustrious batsmen mentioned above we are never considered a force on foreign tours...
