Lawson is like all asussie players, someone who does not learn to take defeat also in the stride . They are bad losers and hence his comments should be discounted. He was an absolute loser in pakistan where he went promising the sky to the Paki team and turned up a loser with no clue and currently he is jobless and hence these rantings of a desperate old man.
Except Srinivasan and the BCCI selectors, everybody knows that this team is high on gas and low on substance. If India wins, all will be swept under the carpet with IPL drug on the way. Some benefit may accrue in terms of oldies getting chucked out if India lose the seriers. Aussie is not a great team, but they fight as a team unlike the star driven culture of Indian team.
india not on wane. on rise now.. see how India A has played the best aussie bowlers easy..even Im very impressed. i thought it would oz bowlers on top bcos they are coming off big win series against windies and srilanka. but 2 tons 77 by raina,so india hardly on wane. india middle order needs to be strengthened. selectors,if middle order fails, others should be rotated immediately.

Played best bowlers easily ..? 114 runs of 54 overs of the pace bowlers ..i dont think we played their pace bowlers well enough..
India's bowling in the 80s was weaker than today's team and was incapable of bowling out a decent side 2wice in a match. Yet we did'nt lose that many matches. The reason was that we had batsmen who could play out 2 days or longer...Gavaskar, Chauhan, Vengsarkar, Amarnath etc...Today, we do not have batsmen who can blunt out the bowlings. We need batsmen who can play like Amarnath, Gavaskar, Vengsarkar etc!

but we have batsmen of the caliber like aninkya, PUJARA, kohli, dhoni, SACHIN, sehwag WHO in form can out perform any time.
