I am really surprised by the amount drawn by most of these players in IPL.If i am a franchisee owner i will be ready to pay a handsome amount to Chris Gayle (those who have any doubt on his current form just look at his masterclass in BPL y'day).Same is the case for Warner,Maccullam,Devilliers,Duplesis,Peterson,Morgan(batsmen) Malinga,Steyn,Morkel,Narine Finn(bowlers) Watson,Kallis,Shakib,Yuvraj,Mathews(allrounders).Even i would like to buy Pollard or Steve Smith mainly because of their fielding apart from allround skills.But most of the other players doesn't have the natural ability for T20 cricket but still bought for very high prices.May be it is because of the rules in IPL that a minimum of this much fund should be utilised for auctions.
Looks like the author of the article is jealous of Murali Kartik! Without being good how can he be "a regular feature in the county circuit till last year" as the author admits.
Let him play as a professional and earn as many are doing the same! The last para clearly shows the bias.

True..The same thing is not been told for sachin or harbhajan or saurav.. for players who r not so famous all these comments come out from these authors
