In ODI also it is just by luck as winning % of india is much lower compared to SA, Eng & Aus. Except for home win against Eng(courtsy- pitch/umpires/no DRDS/Eng B team)- india lost home series agianst Pak, lost in asia cup, lost in Aus triangular series, whitewashed in england ODI series. Even lost last SA sereis. So it is just manipulated ranking in ODI for short duration. That also will not last longer as Aus is going to thrash india in ODI like they did in 2007 by beating MSD team by 4-2 in india    Forward   |   Report abuse

This ODI ranking is also by fluke & not performance as NZL unexpectedely beat SA & SLK draw agianst Aus. It is for few days only. after Aus ODI series India will agian go to original ranking of 3-4 in ODI. In T-20 india is ranked 3rd. two months before they were ranked 6th under great captain dhobiji where india lost 8 out of 10 matches in last 3 T-20 wcup super 6 matches & 10 out of last 14 test. Dhobiji himself not ranked even in top 30 in test & t-20 a game hardly played by 50 batsman    Forward   |   Report abuse
