`hope, now the team understands the reason for the poor turn out. Even their own counterparts (fellow women)ignored the WWC matches and opted for better entertainment. Dropping Niranjana for the match Vs Srilanka was a poor decision. Barring evergreen Julan every other bowler went for runs. Poor running between the wickets, poor fielding were the reasons for the debacle. The team needs to work out on fitness. Even young players like Tirush do not look in good shape and fit.
After all the hue and cry about the music band, I'm happy(surprised) to see women from Pakisthan play cricket. This is a welcome change, when people (read women) get liberated there's a good sign of change.
And one more point to ponder - how many times have Indian Women and Pakisthan women played against each other - whats the connect on ARCH RIVALS. I see thats a political statement and in sports it should just a sport. Minitry, Politicians, armed forces should vent the anger who beheaded our jawans and THEY ARE THE ARCH Rivals not (GENUINE) sportman/woman
