This comment shows that in upcoming elections congress will be rooted out of the country so he is looking for an alternate career but I think Tendulkar the other congress leader is better to coach India.

He will also teach the Indian Team how to fix matches & not get caught. Ha ha.,.. Wildest joke. Azhars has superb sense of humour.

What do you know about the match fixing episode? Do you know what did Williams and Gibbs said few days ago?
Not sure of his service to public, yet got elected as MP, which he should take as wonderful opportunity to serve people instead of playing gimmicks to be in news in the name of game... as he lost credibility in all aspects..
Because of his connections with the first family he survived the onslaught of match fixing was rewarded MP post in parliment what about Jadeja who's carrier was ruined
when he was on the field, it really looked like he was leading, looked and felt like a man. The other captains still feel like kids. Only Kapil and Azhar really were made to be captains, and one of them should coach the indian team.

He was a good player, and set high standards in field.. but as coach don't think he will be successful, as he himself is away from the game for more than a decade... and being pioneer in fixing charges in Indian cricket, present cricketers may not accept him for this role..

And note, good player need not be a good coach, if such was the case.. all great players after their retirement would have tried to become coach.
I used to think only Kalmadi was like that, Now the great fixer is out of the closet, pure shameless character. They can go naked in public, and feel no shame.
The man who made Sachin an opener, the man who brought the Sachin-Ganguly opening combination, the man who made tactical field placements, the man who adamantly stood by Rahul Dravid for the one-day team. He has a knack of spotting talent, but alas there is one black spot in his career. But he surely is one of the better men to coach the Indian cricket team.

Yes, fantastic cricketer, apart from that one black mark, he is the best man to coach.

Can we say that player of so many things, as listed by you, was brought into team by Kapil, so let's vote for Kapil.. Thus we will also be ensuring that our cricketers don't get sniff of fixing from their coach..

Kpil was once the coach .... I think india needs outside coaches and they seem to do well under them
