you say shane bond took sachin's wicket only once...thats true...For your info bond played only 2 tests i.e. 4 innings against india...and he did get sachin's wicket bowled out once...bond was opening bowler and by the time sachin came in to bat bond was not bowling most of the times anyway...can you give how many deliveries bond bowled to sachin? in those 4 innings btw sachin lasted 179 deliveries overall making 100 runs with an average of 25 runs...it is not known exactly how many of those 179 deliveries were bowled by bond...

you say akram never took sachin's wicket in tests...for your info akram took sachin's wicket once...akram played 12 tests against india and bowled 21 innings against india...out of those 21 innings sachin actually played in only 12 innings...he did not play in the other test matches...and scored 395 runs at an average of 32.91 in 12 innings facing 853 deliveries...can you tell exactly how many out of 853 deliveries were bowled by akram?

you say fanie de villiers did not take his wicket even once....fanie played in only 2 tests against india and bowled in 4 innings...sachin made 146 runs with an average of 36.5 runs facing 368 deliveries in all...no idea how many of them were bowled by fanie...
that way sanjay, even kumble with more than 700 test wickets has not taken sachin's wicket a single time...it is another story that he did not bowl a single delivery to sachin either...

so you see my dear sanjay statistics can be very deceptive...

whenever Sachin schored a ton against Shaun Pollock
by caeser b on Feb 03, 2013 11:53 PM  | Hide replies

India lost that match............
Also please check his record against
1. Fanie De Villiers
2. Allan Donald
3. Wasim Akram
4. Shane Bond
5. Glenn Mcgrath
and many more fast bowlers of his era.

You will be surprised to the hilt.
The fact remains that he was never able to play against genuine quality pace attack and he still wont be able to play against the like of Vernon Philander or Morne Morkel or Mitchell Starc.
He was and is a big failure against fast bowling.

Ask Dale Steyn and all of the above fast bowlers you mentioned and you will get your answer. You seem to be another immature idiot tooting the horn of hatred.

Wow, amazing. When you write something like this, you should be able to substantiate it. Just merely saying few things don't make it true. When Sachin scores a century, India loses. off late Virat has been scoring centuries, India is losing, Dhoni is scoring, India i losing. Can u tell whenever they score centuries, India loses.

Can u take off the brilliant century Dhoni scored recently against Pakistan by simply saying, that whenever he scores, India loses. Hope u remember this match because it is just 1 month old. U know why India lost, batsmen failed, bowlers could not pick wickets at regular intervals. After few months, if Dhoni's centuries don't come for a winning cause, then u people will brand him with the tag. U will never think of these brilliant knocks.

Sachin has played so many good innings. He has shouldered responsibilities for so many years. If u say he couldn't face fast bowlers or foreign pitches, then u r boasting that u know better cricket than all the legends & cricket committees who have placed him on the top list of greatest batsmen. Dravid, Ponting, Lara, Kallis, these are players of his era who are all legends & performed very well for their countries. They all know how to face fast bowlers just like Sachin. Now there are many youngsters who will fill their shoes in few years. May be you can check on websites of all his knocks(not just centuries). Look at all his 50 scores & see what conditions they came in, bowlers in that match.
