T20 is the toughest form in cricket because batsmen are under pressure of maintaining a SR of atleast 120 or above and bowlers need to keep good control throughout the spells.Same time players of big hitting reputation are not very consistent like Pollard,Levi,T Perera,Albie Morkel,Y pathan etc eventhough they can change the game any time.In my opinion there are only very few reliable players in T20.(Even for WI the WT20 champions i believe only 3 reliable players r there.1.Gayle 2.Samuels 3.Narine).For other teams also there r only very few quality players for T20 formats Watson,Warner,Maccullam,Ross Taylor,ABD,A Mathews,D Steyn,M Morkel,Gul,Ajmal,Malinga,Peterson,Morgan etc.In India there is only Yuvraj and Raina who has consistenty in T20 cricket (Even Dhoni is below standards bcos of his low SR in internationals).What i am trying to say is the huge money that is spent for players other than these top players is totally waste and most probabley the teams lose their services due to international commitments.
Why on earth would any sane person bid for a bhaiyaa like R. P. Singh. The man is a complete moron with no cricketing intelligence. He was in the team thanks to Dhoni. I hope franchisees stop picking clowns like him in their teams.
Shame BCCI&Indian rulers Have NOT banned Foreign Players??? ONLY one foreign player per IPL team must be allowed in our IPL toournament so that local players get chance to makie some money too! Also, BCCI&government MUST Ban Boirng&poverty-produicng Tests &Ranji Matches NOW to save the economy of the nation and to prevent wastage of milllions and milllions of work hours for so many years too!Has any one Bothered to calculate how many trillions of man-hours have been lost in our banana republic for the past 50 years and how many trillions of dollars have been lost by watching useless and Boring and poverty-producing TEST CROCKET for daystogether??? The loss in national wealthlost due to Test Cricket watching must be 100 trillion dollars or more and what a shame that we continue this Useless TEST CRICKET even now!Just see the excitement and massive crowd support for the IPL and One day Cricket Matches and compare the sleeping and usless morroniccrowd who were sleeping on the cricket ground during the 10 days of past 2Tests against Kiwis alone! Why association of indian cricket players keeping quiet??? and not boycotting IPL matches since they are excluded from the auctions???they must shout and stile to see that only one forein player is allowed per team in all ipl teams and not more so that indian players get chance to make some monney too,what a shame!
watching IPL auction today was very glad that CSK got dirk nannes. BTW SRK didnt buy any players as there were no pakis and banglas seems CSK winner all the way
