THE ENGLISH EXPECTED TO PUT UP BETTER FIGHT NEXT 2 TESTS

England has to blame no one else but themselves for the hopeless situation they find themselves in.First, towards the later phases of England leg of the Ashes series they fail to read the initial signs of their tapering off performance even while the subtle signs of a resurgent Aus side appears! Next, they arrogate w/o realizing the reality on ground of the two sides , of winning the 4th Ashes series in Aus! To a neutral observer it was evident the 3-0 win in England was far from comprehensive as Peter Siddle rightly says ! But for rain interruptions the margin would have been certainly narrower. Somehow the English couldn’t fathom it! Now URN gone, what do they do ? Can’t urinate on the pitch on a foreign soil, can they ? Instead they have started deserting the English ship like rats! Besides, it seems efforts are already afoot to find a scapegoat for the ashes debacle ! Not surprising that KP appears to be the front runner !More heads could roll of course. Still, the English could take heart from the fact that at Perth they had their best game with Ian Bell and even other youngsters like Root, Stokes… all showing better application. There appears to be some sort of revival in the batting. This gives a hope that they might put up a better fight in the remaining 2 Tests not allowing the marauding Aussies to easily run away with a white wash. As far as the Aus, somehow for Michael Clarke , parting with his bosom friend headmaster coach M/Arthur

(contd.)parting with his bosom friend headmaster coach M/Arthur seems to have helped him greatly in completely transforming himself as a new captain motivating and getting best out of his players. With reasonably good bowling attack , the young Aus batting too seems to be maturing and emerging as a strong Test batting side. The return of the URN(2015 ?) for the English looks difficult for now.
