KNOWLEDGE OF CRICKET

Any one who had slightest knowledge of Cricket would have said that at the last minute i.e ending 4 overs before closure of match, the said match was FIXED to go for a Draw.

Last 4 over of the match DuPlessis un necessarily made himself run out when there was no need of such single and especially in Test Match when ball is behind the bowler.

Secondly, person even without knowledge of cricket would say that in last 3overs to make 16 runs was an easy task when you are having 3 wickets in hand but sorry they were told not to score and the respective overs were gone maiden except last ball of the over when there was no risk of victory scored 6 sixer by Steyn otherwise he and Philender could have scored 16 runs especially PHILENDER who was set batsman.

ICC should probe this match honestly and give its results to all cricket lovers. AS SOMETHING WAS FISHY. Even the spectators were surprised by Stayn and Philender for not going for RUNSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

There is nothing like that for sure. SA was practically 8 wickets down due to Morkel unable to bat. Trying for victory after Du Plessis exit was very tough and unless the batsmen take some big risk, the required runs could not be taken. losing a wicket at that stage is all most like loosing the match. The remaining two batsmen may not be able to survive due to the pressure situation and also the pitch conditions. SA did not want to lose the match and if it was a crucial series decider match definitely they should have tried to win the match. They all know MS Dhoni is a very shrewd captain and they did not want to take a chance.
