If he made century only because he had promised to you. Why not you take promise from others also? Please do not take un required credit. He is a class batsman and thus he made a century.
Kohli ton was really masterclass. It was surprising to see Rahne batting so well. He is a good backfoot player and it will be better if Rahne opens the batting with Shikar Dhawan. Murali Vijay is any way useless overseas. So Gambhir should be given another chance as a opener. Gambhir and Dhawan can open the batting with pujar, Kholi, Rohit Sharma and Rahane to follow.
While no denying the fact that it was a good innings and something to be feeling proud of, this is just the beginning. sustaining is the key before we put this in orbit. Coach should have said this before the innings. saying it post the fact makes it sound outlandish
When one of top SA batsmen advised indian opener to get in line..it sounds classic advise which could make one a sitting duck at times. One misses out in classic advise the right judgement of backfoot and front foot. Wrong judgement leaves no time to be in line.The wisdom at front and back, the stance and action. Among the followers.
