The new rule has killed the art of reverse swing, we can no more see bowlers like Manoj Prabakar or Waqar. Why cant they make batsmen to play with bat which is not seasoned so that it will be hard to clear the boundaries.

odi cricket needs to go back to old rules of uncovered pitches. if all pitches around the world have same type of pitches, then why not play all matches in one place only. Why take cricket to far off places ?

How can ICC suggest that wickets should be conducive to batsmen. Already there is a scarcity of good fast bowlers

Not a baseball look alike

ICC might think that the new ODI rules may have made a positive impact on the game because consumers are still pretty much glued to the game. As more 300 plus scores become a walk in the park and more often bowlers getting hammered for sixes and fours and consumers' interest start to wean due to fatigue, the ICC would be required to do a reality check in the future.
You don't want the game to be a baseball look alike.
