Has the Ashes series ever seen as many controversies as seen during this series of 2013 ? Besides the DRS distraction even many decisions of the umpires' including those relating to stoppages of the game for bad lights did look arbitrary perhaps provoking roguish behavior of the English players emulating Monty Panesar’s act in a Pub ! it certainly raises question mark on the gentlemen's game. Even people are not clear as to the criteria umpires adopt to stop game on the grounds of bad light.ICC needs to realize that in the absence of clear cut guidelines any team on the verge of winning is bound to feel cheated. Any repetition of even couple of times can completely vitiate the spirit of the gentlemen’s game.it will not be a overstatement to say that the umpires’ role of neutrality has taken a beating and their image come off very poorly.ICC has to consciously work to improve the stock of more competent neutral umpires in putting together a credible system to instill people’s confidence in the system.

Hope,the english crazy people of our country,who pretentiously converse only n English with their spouses and children ignoring their mother tounge and proudly say that they do not know their mother tounge, will learn from this incident.
DO NOT IGNORE AND INSULT YOJR MOTHER TOUNGE,no doubt that english has become most essential,bur not at the cost of our pride.

Mahesh, appreciate your statements. Please dont discard your mother tongue in lieu of Hindi/English.
We Indians have proved to be far superior to the Brits at least in celebrating our success as we only sing and dance.I am sure,the late ex PM of UK Winston Churchill who bragged ab out the English being the superior most race in the world must be crying in his grave.
Cricket is considered as the gentleman's game but this incident is really a shame for all the cricketers of the world ICC must take serious action against these idiots
