It is not captian but the talent in batting is lagging considerably.Aus.has not developed the players any near to former batters. The last one was Mikelm Hassye.Give Michalr good team ,he will be successsful.
Mathew Hayden comment are baseless as Ponting was not known to be good captain still Australia was number one team under his captaincy for almost ten years. Australian team dont have the firepower or talent it was known for.
that had Gilly, Ponting, Warnie, McGrath, Waugh etc. There's hardly anyone of that class now. Pup may not be a great leader, but what can he do with this team that even India can beat 4-0?
