Ganguly is the best captain of India . He gave chance to every member in the team . He was the one who instilled the fighting qualities which are now evident in today' s players . Dada was the one who taught India how to win abroad .

Ganguly was Lucky
by Oscar on Aug 07, 2013 01:44 PM  | Hide replies

Ganguly was definitely a great captain , but one should not forget that he was lucky to have players like Tendulkar, Dravid, Laxman & Sehwag in his team and also a bowler like Kumble. At no time before India has such a fabalous batting line up in any team before.

and will never have this great batting line up :(

Only kohli has the capability to play OVERSEAS against quality bowling. Remaining others are like captain st0Ol who pEes OVERSEAS :(

Steveda is saying these sugary sweet things about Blinking Gangu_Lee under intense pressure!

His repeated trips to the City of Joy have taught him that if he doesn't praise the local boy, he may not be able to make it back to the airport!

Good job Stevie! You Australians should coach people in the art of self-preservation!

What else can you expect from a state whose CM openly threatens opponents with everything from physical assault to decapitation!

What does the media ask any foreigner? "Spicy Indian food", "Sachin Tendulkar", "Dhoni" (of late), and "Bollywood". Doesnt the foreigner reply praising each one of the above?? :)
Anyway, I feel Waugh told the truth that Ganguly brought toughness to the team. That is my opinion as well.

Only blind hitter of ODIs... made him successful captain because of the contribution of some excellent players like Sachin, Dravid, Kumble, Bhajji, Dhoni etc. in the same era.

Dada Gave Thirst To Win
by rocky on Aug 07, 2013 10:25 AM  | Hide replies

Whatever we are as cricketing team, Dada has huge contribution towards it. Dada gave Indian Board/Cricketer the hunger, thirst & Hunting approach. His Contribution can't be denied & I believe Dada has lot of Cricket running in his vein as blood even now after retirement.
