What corruption did Srini do ? Are you out of your mind asking this question ? Simply having and backing his Corrupt Son-in-law. Breeding corruption at home and then trying to push it under the carpet.

Frankly no one can answer on what corruption srini has done.. If his son in law has placed a bet on IPL match then his Son in law to be punished or the IPL chairman Rajiv shukla to be punished. here pulling the BCCI presided for no wrong of his is not legal...

Being board chairman and owner of a team whose undeserving players are pushed to Indian team is itself a corrupt act. Corruption does mean only embezzlement of fund, abuse of authority is also corruption.

Here your problem is regionalization. The issue has happened in IPL and IPL chairman is Rajiv Shukla.. If any one has to questioned it should be the IPL chairman and not BCCI president.

fact about current issue.
by Srivatsan S on Aug 02, 2013 03:15 PM  | Hide replies

The fact is BCCI is cricket board and not a investigating agency. If Police department files a charge sheet and it is proved in Court then BCCI can remove or take whatever steps. Here in this case, at this stage for two persons making a bet on a match; BCCI cannot punish them without strong evidence, because if tomorrow court acquits them, then they might sue damages with BCCI which they have to pay in Millions. It is up to Mumbai police and India law to punish after thorough investigations. Only thing BCCI can make at this point is to ask the franchise to keep them away till final verdict is out in court.

I understand your emotions created by Media. Yes. not owners no one in india can place Bet other than Horse race, but what BCCI can do if person sitting in Dubai places a bet?. It is upto India legal authority to take action and not BCCI. Here media is trying to get TRP rating.
