Unfortunately the hostile forces included several Indians.. I think the key issue back then was that the precise technical reasons for BCCI objection were not clear. But all these "white" nations can hopefully sit down quietly with their mouths shut..
people will not discuss it for days after the match. People and the players will move on. DRS is creating a diversion. So BCCI was right after all. Who would have imagined this wisdom of BCCI? :-)
It seems he has started watching cricket only yesterday. To see the worst umpiring he is advised to watch Ind-Aus Sydney test starring ricky ponting and steve bucknor.

Thats why steve bucknor got an extension of 2 years, which even Dicky Bird did not get!!The slow death was a die hard Aussie to the core.
Yes BCCI and Indian cricketers by and large would be laughing at all this. Not hearing any comments from them. Btw welcome back to Mr Srinivasan as the chief, hope things get alright. The DRS system is a waste and is not really required, on -field umpires do make mistakes but it can be carried over. Does Football (world's #1 GAme) has this?

I think the times have changed and its the time of colonies who have taken over the game headed by the leader India (BCCI). Salutes to them for sticking to the decision to oust DRS.
