a true legend has righly chosen legends , though bradman's ommission is baffling. But Tendi is rightly omitted. It shows what true legends think about him. Only a very few indians consider him a( pseudo) legend. was on ordinary cricketer who thrived on BCCI patronage.
at least there's one person in the cricketing world who has the guts to call a spade a spade. just b'cos a cricketeer has got crowds n media supporting him - whatever the reason - does not mean that he's great! if that is a criteria, ' hitler and stalin were greats' in another context. dicky bird has been an exemplary umpire in the midst of things and had a central view of what was heppening in the cricket world, has given his list of great cricketeers - which should carry more weight than any idolising by spectators!. kudos to dickie bird for his sincere evaluation.

I wonder what makes you believe that its sincere evaluation. Indians long have been believing more in foreigners (read whites) than in themselves. There is no doubt abt birds sincerity, but I doubt his knowledge as cricket historian....eg. there is no genuine pacer to open alongside lilee (imran was much slower than kapil and botham, and MUCH MUCH MUCH slower than west indians) - how fool is that. Yes everyone has a right to express...

Malcom Marshall is the all time best fast bowler so is Richard Hardlee as no 2. The list is totally biased and ignorant about cricket. Prasanna is the best all time off spinner
