GOOD WIN BUT NOT ATTAINED CONTENDERS LEVEL YET
by damodaran mohan on Apr 15, 2013 12:26 PM

This emphatic win will go a long way in boosting the confidence of the side which was at a low having lost two games and registered a lone win against the last ranked DD. Gambhir managed to do lot of things right this time around. One, chose to bat. Next ensured better team balance, batted well at the front and most important promoted Eion Morgan up the order. The batting order looks somewhat settled now but still the batting itself looks fragile and as of now the defending champs look far separated from the other biggies and contenders for the title, namely, MI,RCB and CSK. Unless the likes of Bisla , Pathan, Tiwary etc. perk up or the team management tries out some other combo Gambhir &co. might find it difficult to make it to last four even.

If not for foreign players this league would have been a glorified version of the Ranjis!

SRH deserved what they are supposed to be deserved a huge LOSS against KKR, not surprised to see SRH loss agaisnt KKR as they are the weakest opponents in IPL13. SRH previous wins were fluke & luck. Want to see them at the bottom of the table in IPL13.
