In current day Cricket all the teams have access to full technical analysis on each player of the opposition. That said, if Sehwag is susceptible to ertain deliveries, its his job to work on them. His previous merits DO NOT help. Quite a few players have done that; Dravid, Sachin etc. If you are aqn opening bat, your weakness is highlighted more than some one like Dhoni.

Sehwag was sheerly depending on his eyesight. He could pickup the ball better during his prime time.
But with age one needs to find alternate means to get runs. That sets him apart from likes of Dravid, Sachin and Laxman.
Generally, I see his bat like a table fan swinging wildly and hitting the ball in the process.
Good that he didn't play against Glenn McGrath or Fannie De Villiers. He would have been out of team a bit earlier.
His name says everything !! Will Rediff please boycott Geoff Boycott's statements ??? He is not the Indian Team selector. In fact, he is NOT CONNECTED with Team India affairs at all !! So, please boycott this useless fellow on this discussion board !!

sEHWAG was given too many chances along with gauti. if they failed who is to blame..? they have taken their places for granted..now chance for others like anijka, shikar dhivan, murli Vijay, poojara, dhinesh karthik etc. viru-gauti did serve India well, but now time to move on..

hey barkingDogChirag, Dhoni is the KING. He has immeasurable achievements. barkingDogs like you get jealouzz of Dhoni's phenomenal success and start abuzzing him.
Since he sacrificed his interest and opened for india in Test, now its the time, to see how he fares n No:6 slot in Tests. May be one full Test series need to be given (atleast 6 innings)
