because sachin will never let anyone open other than him. and the place for the other opener can go to a flop player like rohit sharma. but no pollard.
I think if MI opt with Sachin & Dwayn Smith opening & Ponting at no.3 that will make real good combination for them. U can't rely on out of form inconsistent Rohit Sharma to give stability to middle order. Also Pollard should bat at no. 5. If Rohit Sharma is not performing in next couple of games he should be replaced with some fresh young talent like Chahal, Yadav etc. This will really help MI to give justice to the potential they have.
No one has the caliber to say about sachin, if some one saying that he should have to get retirement from the cricket. He has to see that whether he can go and face one ball against the pace battery like, Africa, Pakistan & Australia. so please shut your mouth as we don't have caliber to say about sachin
