Finally.. the selectors have taken a strong stand.. Mehwag and Bhajju had taken their place for granted in the team.. they should have shown the door long ago..
If above three players are dropped, why target poor Sachin who has retired from ODi,unfair!
Maybe BCCI has given him chance evenafter his consistent failures for several test series! Maybe media is quite about his failures in tests and still retaining his place! So what if Dravid is treated shabbily always? Why did he played so well in IPL now?he should be dropped as comparisons are being made wiht Sachin,so what if he plays so badly in two matches!!

for that contribution, he has been rewarded handsomely! keeping him in the squad, depriving some young, injury-free and energetic of a chance, need not be that reward (for a creditable past performance)
India lost almost 10 matches in home soil, these school boys are yet to play in west indies & Newzealand, when they go there, then India will make new records with single digit runs.

better to fail with these school boys ..who will learn from their mistakes ...at least they will play without pressure as underdogs
He was forced to retire from ODIs..any honourable player of his stature and calibre would retire ON-field and not OFF-field.
His greed keeps him going in tests. I hope sanity prevails and he retires ON-field rather than announcing his retirement in solitary confinement.
Seeing first few matches of IPL - of the oldies its only Rahul Dravid who has some class and agility. Sachin ponting harbhajan sehwag (who did not play) etal are all gone cases. dragging their feet.
But, all the three are 'Heroes' with lots of contribution to Indian cricket and they have entertained us for a long time with superb skill and talent. Hats off 'Trio'!

100% true.. But, I think Sehwag still has chance in shorter version (ODIs & T20) of the game.
