by r karthikeyan on Sep 25, 2012 07:34 AM

horse runs again till the end like that harbhajan singh makes punjab proud of him by his wicket taking deliveries.a tough customer to be handled in international cricket.a good indian spinner.looks like a lion in indian cricket.keep it up horse singh because he works in cricket ground like horse.can be a dangerous nightwatchman in one-day game and t20.bowls better than sachin tendulkar

All I ask from Shewag
by Just Curious on Sep 24, 2012 11:17 PM  | Hide replies

All I ask from Sehwag is not to get out in first 5 overs. His average balls in a innings before he get out is only 15 in T20. It puts a lot of pressure on middle order getting out in first 2 overs. After 5 overs he can throw his bat at anything especially it would be the second string of bowlers bowling then. he can easily take them to cleaners.

Harbajan can hit sixes and take wickets and put the teams in pressure by his class bowling in no manner a bowler like Ajmal have any chance in front of him.

yes.. But it is bad for Ajmal to compare him with a old dropped player. No other player in pak team looks like international player

T20 World Cup
by Chaturchuramoni Chatterjee on Sep 24, 2012 05:50 PM  | Hide replies

This T20 World Cup has the strangest format ever seen in cricket. Despite getting trounced by India and finishing with 2 points, England topped the group ahead of India who finished with 4 points.

Not just that, thanks to this format the super 8 groupings would be

First group: England, West Indies (if they beat Ireland today), Sri Lanka and New Zealand

Second group: India, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan (if they beat Bangladesh tomorrow)

Clearly the second group is much stronger than the first.

If traditional way was followed, then the groupings could have been

First group: India, West Indies, South Africa, New Zealand

Second group: England, Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan

which could have been much more evenly distributed.

I think that you got it wrong. India topped group A with 4 points! Check your facts before commenting...

Make it large
by Raj Kumar on Sep 24, 2012 05:17 PM

It is a good thing Dhoni didn't ask Bhajji to "make it large" after the match!

By the way, how is Bhajji's ball bearing business doing these days?
