As has been pointed out many experts, he succeeded because he got back his confidence and his loop, dip and sharp turn are back. At least yesterday... we hope he does not revert to his defensive bowling again, when he gets into a tight situation. The classic bowling by both him and Chawla was a treat to watch. Dhoni has a sweet problem on his hands now. His best bet would be to select the best five bowlers, which means the three spinners and Zaheer plus Pathan. I suspect he will fall back to his favorite option of 7 batsen and 4 bowlers again, because very few Indian captains have the guts to pick 6 5 consistently. So, it will be either Bhajji or Chawla sitting out...

If not for his lack of brains, England would have been all out for 60 odd. The guy was bowling bouncers at no 10 and 11 who are six and half feet tall. His bouncers were comfortable for them. Instead, he should have bowled yorkers at the stumps. Why don't these guys use their brains. Just because he got Broad with a short bal, he thought he could get the others too. But kept bowling the same line even after getting hit.... sheeesh....Overall a fabulous win for India.

why don't you see the innumerable websites on the match and check yourself. Why do you want others to do your work.
Of course the match situation was that he could get away with his poor, unimaginative and wayward bowling.
But what would have happened if this guy was bowling with 15 or so runs required per over in the last couple of overs for the opposition to win?
He cannot come out with a yorker, he doesn't have a slow bouncer, he cannot send one hurtling almost on the ground straight to wicket keeper just inside the wide marking, he cannot bowl one straight which though could be hit for a four or six could also have the batsman bowled or plumb in front...
All that he does is copy the great Kapil Dev's leap in the last stride, but besides that, there is nothing else to crow about.
Perhaps the coach has to hit hard into the brains of these younger ones so much on strategies and tricks besides the oft repeated cliches like line and length.

blue cloud, grow up and stop committing simple spelling mistakes - I'm sure you wanted to write I'm BOSS but spelt it SOB
Now the opposition teams will have to prepare themselves for several spin bowlers and opening pairs to play india. yesterday they prepeared for sewag, zaheer and ashwin but lost the plot.
