Kohli's fault
by Sunil Bhandari on Sep 12, 2012 11:29 AM  | Hide replies

1 . Kolhli did not stay till the end
2. Why he scored so fast? Other batsmen thought wicket and bowling are easy so they got complacent.

Will I get gold medal for this fault finding?

If it had been tendulkar instead of dhoni, then your fault finding would have given you padmashree!!

Selfish players ??--Loosers
by bhunu pro on Sep 12, 2012 11:20 AM  | Hide replies

Time to pick up selfish player >

1)      Virat – open-ed the innings couldn’t finish it .. < Sachin’s boots ?? >>

2)      Yuvi – A fighter but was too slow >

3)      Dhoni – Fought well like always but couldn’t get d support >

And surpisigly bowlers did decent job..unless Irfan Pathan in Asia cup..

Virat and Team india
by priyankush ghosh on Sep 12, 2012 11:19 AM  | Hide replies

Unfortunately indian batting is at such a critical juncture right now that even if anybody dont accept it with humility its a fact well known to opponents that virat is the biggest wicket whenever playing against India . So Virat has taken a very conscious effort to guide India home in all formats nowadays .He couldnt do so yesterday , but i was telling my friend with whom i watched the match that Virat staying till the end would have meant india winning the match with perhaps 10 balls to spare . its obvious seeing other Indian batsmen at this moment that nobody has the class and form as Virat at present .
Secondly , Sourav ganguly was right after the match saying that India need to play an extra bowler instead of Rohit sharma at the current form to have more balance to their side . I guess if dinda was played yesterday , India could have given two three overs of specialist bowling to the kiwis instead of Yuvi or Kohli's part timers ; also if Ashwin was having a rare bad day , the extra bowler could have compensated for it .In T20 world cup , bowling will be the key factor especially with changing conditions of srilankan pitches (seemingly seaming conditions )nowadays , which the home side is perhaps grooming themselves for the 2015 WC In australia..way to look into the future..
Thirdly Irfan pathan or manoj tiwary would have been better off to be sent in place of out of form Rohit when 6 runs reqd in two balls..why cant we be flexible in this format and send men in form!!

good post...

but i dont agree that nobody else has the class and form as virat at present...

just one loss does not make other batsmen useless...

Its not just yesterdays loss; look at India's present performance in three formats very recently...I am trying to say here that Virat is exuberating confidence in the team dressing room and also in the minds of cricket faans like us and fear among opposition that he can run away with the game for his team...i hope virat learns from yesterday's match that india needs him to be at his best in every match nowadays and stay calm and composed right there till the end..it happens with every team like at one moment Lara was for west indies or hashim amla is for south africa at this moment or hayden for australia .. that its one batsman who is at the peak of his form and abilities and others just play around him ..

u said great, great players play for victory and india's pride. virat is follower of sachin. badluck sachin, he never had good supporting batsman and well built team, sachin is one man show. virat is lucky batsman, he has good built team and many finsihers in the team, kohili is great finisher than other batsman. its difference.
