Sachin is the highest run scorer… max. centuries...and all falana dikan records..in the world ok…so no one disputes that he can still score runs albeit with less regularity. However keeping the interest of team rebuilding some of the questions that need to be asked are : Whether he is capable of doing something extraordinary which others cannot do ? NO. If he is a match winner ? NO. Whatever contribution he can give at his present level whether there is no other youngster available to do that ? Yes, at least two, three are there waiting and they are future of Indian cricket while Sachin is past. Today's(8th sep) HT has brought out a brilliant analysis on Sachin by Ian Chappel. I wish Sachin reads it. His quotes: "As a batsman gets older....he thinks more about survival and less about scoring ". "Ther are a few ways of telling when a top-class batsman is waning and being bowled regularly is one of them." ."...he has become more aware of the statistical side of the game, he may have already ventured into basement. When a player does that he is relying on generosity of the selectors and that can be dangerous ground."
If Underperformed Manmohan Singh is not geting retirement, why should Sachin, he is the role model to the middle order batsman, do not forget his doubble ton in the one day, he is the first to catch hold of the doubble century, yes I agree he is slowing down, and he will take retirement soon for sure,

He has to play for his sponsers, advertisers, and mumbai indians. if he takes retirement his endorsement will be affected.
When HD Deve Gowda was unceremoniously kicked out of Prime Misinstership, his detractors told him "When you Gowda go you Gowda go" So Sachin Gowda go!!! His situation is similar
you are a mortal, Give yourself just ONE MORE chance, step down gracefully otherwise these Indians will disgrace you in the worst possible way. Remember our local MMS? even though he architected India's reforms, he is slated to do down in history as the WORST PM India ever had. Please take cue
never go on their own except Dravid and Laxman This moron is media crazy and wants attention like kid. He is done, stick da fork in him for good, shameless and irresponsible. He is too old to play cricket especially when fast bowling has become a crazy. The guy need batting glasses now. He is old grandapa, retire and spend time with kids you moron !
Well, I think the upcoming series against Aus & England will probably be last hurrah for Tendulkar. With the age catching up fast with him, I seriously doubt if he makes to SA next year and with slower body movements SA fast bowlers will be more than a handful for him. So, just 8 more test matches guys.. Enjoy SRT and enjoy the game.. The endinf of an era is very near.

Cricket is a team sport.
You can't hold SRT responsible for series failure. When it comes to test cricket we don't have batsmen who can play on the line of off stump. SRT is the last of the trio(i.e. Dravid, VVS) who is left.
Sachin Tendulkar has developed minor technical flaws that affect his performance: high back lift, huge bat and pad gap, across the line playing of shots, and poor movement of the front or back foot at times. The first three of the four flaw are indeed glaring, and if rectified, Tendulkar will again reach the highest echelon.
