I really at loss to know why some people gets angry when Sachin was asked to quit to give chance to youngsters. Retirement of a player at the age of 39 years is no disgrace nor he is making a big sacrifice. Winning or losing a game is not big thing. Let youngsters also make some money out of cricket. When Ganguly, Dravid, Laxman and Kumble hung their boot to make way for younger players why this old & worn out player still hanging on his statistics and want to play? We respect him for his rcords, we love him for his contribution to cricket but what is the point in showing greediness to play for ever and make money? Let Sachin make donations to worthy causes and get popularity instead of giving imported cars to sportsmen as his gift. I love him if he quits now and announce some donations.

For your information sachin just handed over the keys of BMW to Saina nehwal. The car was actually gifted from Hyderabad badmiton association. Sachin didnt gift the CAR. Selfish sachin can never do that.

I agree. In fact when the media reported the event as " Sachin gifts BMW car to Saina", I was surprised and had to dig in deep to reassure myself that it was tweaked. By the way Andhra Badminton Association is filled with rejects from the cricketing world such as Chamundeswaranath ( sexual hares dement scandal) and Azharuddin,

Great to see juniors to play without Dravid,Laksman,Sourav and even Sachin.
But please wait and allow juniors to blossom and then comment.Sachin with all regards to him please retire you will be remembered always as great batsman, superhit player with no doubt but now it is time to realise that age is coming in between u and ur reflex please think and act accordingly.
Raina watch kohli and act as matured player bohut din ho gaya aap ko Indian team mein , kudos to kohli, pujara, ashwin and ojha but remember NZ is the weakest team in the World cricket..

Hello team rediff,
why are you always oiling the cricket team ? Our football team has done a commendable job by beating Cameroon in Nehru Cup footbal final. They have done a hatrick of winning. Why are you silent over that ? Your portal should do a good amount of publicity of our footbal team. Just shame of your website !!!!

India won the series only because almost 40% of the decisions were wrong and in favour of Indian bowlers.. Also Indian batsman like Sachin, Dhoni, Koli were not given out when they were plumb LBWs.. This is a fact..
