tendulkar needs to go home!!
by nilesh patinge on Sep 03, 2012 08:46 PM  | Hide replies

I am from Mumbai, but feels its now time for him to go. If he says that he did not want to retire, till he feels not touching his bat, likes to get up in the morning, even I also feel the same, being a die hard cricket fan, but I would have not held on to the place in the national team, as he feels proud representing the nation, so does Rahane, Tiwari & innumerable across our dear nation. He can very well go to Azad Maidan or any grounds across the suburbs where many individuals old or young play amateur cricket. He can also fulfill his ambition of holding his cricket bat, but I feel there is no way he can block a place in the national side, if he has a self pride, he should now retire like a true Marathi Manoos like Sunil Gavaskar!! Go Sachin Go!!! your time is over in our dear Indian cricket team

SACHIN if you have any shame left - Please RETIRE
by Sunil Kothari on Sep 03, 2012 07:59 PM  | Hide replies

1) You are 40 not 22, you have reached age where soon you will need reading glasses and seems that to avoid getting bowled you will need batting glasses..
2) Getting bowled several times on a average balling attack is a sign your reflexes are slowed down.
3) You have not won match when under pressure, very rare events, so anyway it was not expected of you
4) You have hogged enough limelight in media, and you still are greedy for more media light
5) Do you expect people will call praise you with this kind of form, they have started making fun of you, ABHI TOO BUDDHA HO GAYA HAI, you are going though mid-life crises. Your new hair style reflects that..
6) If you have any humility left invite KOHLI to your house like what Don did, tell world you see himself in KOHLI, that is what is expected at your age.
7) I am almost your age and enjoy playing cricket, but I know my reflexes are not same as they were 10 years ago..
8) You should sit back, reflect on all your glorious years and RETIRE for GOOD
9) Selectors can't drop you due to your records and media hype. If you were with Aussies they would have dropped you in this series.
10) You can't just wake up and come to play test cricket, decide which one to play and arrive 3 days before match to make show of practice. If you want to play test cricket for years, you need practice, you are not doing basics of cricket because you act like star. You should play Ranji matches so feet start moving

MOVE ON !!!

I think the players should be selected based on moving average and not on life long achievements. I would like to know from a cricket lover the scores in the last 20 tests that Tendulkar has played along with the number of times he was out bowled.

Prem, apart from that 146 in SA, only 1 or 2 innings in Aus/Eng was (to some extent) good. Rest are all simplypainintheass.....

Once Sehwag and Sachin are out of the team, the "Team In Blue" will be vying for the 7th, 8th and 9th spots in the ICC Cricket ratings.

All that the Team In Blue needs is a couple of tours abroad. Afterall, the tigers don't like grass!!

the master plaster says he is enjoying his cricket. enjoying what - getting bowled .

he should realise that nobody wants to see him now. if still wants to play cricket he should go back to shivaji park but not play for india.

pathetic to see how he has become an eyesore.
