Sachin pls Retire!!!!!!!!!!
by Santhanam on Sep 04, 2012 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

If Sachin doesnt Retire immediately then he would have to Retire after Failing in 2 miserable Tours for him (England & Australia coming to India). India would certainly Win these 2 Series at Home but Sachin would Fail big time in these 2 Series due to his AGE problems. Hope he RETIRES before England Series to avoid further Misery.

no doubt Dravid is a Great Wall. But he is not quick between wickets. You can expect him to save the game but not win the game.
The only Gentleman of Indian Cricket, of date.

Good win. It was possible only by Ashwin's great bowling. They should have given man of match for him.

Thats what Dravid fans (like self) like about him - he speaks his head without mincing words and still likeable... after all this was the guy who declared Indian innings when Sachin was on 194.. True cricket (Dravid) fans would understand the spirit of the point

Pujara??
by Sudarsan on Sep 04, 2012 08:54 AM  | Hide replies

No mention of Pujara and how well he has slotted into Dravid's No.3 slot? He scored 159 and 48, two good innings that won both games for India. Is Dravid not happy that he has been replaced pretty comfortably in the batting order? I didn't expect this from a guy like Jammy....

by Jiju on Sep 04, 2012 05:23 AM  | Hide replies

Rohit Sharma: Everybody speaks about his "talent"..... He should ensure that he will not become another Vinod Kambli :)
Bilateral series are as good as useless as long as it is between India and a weak team like the present Srilankan or NZ team. But earlier, we have played against SA/Eng even in their own backyard and they were quite interesting......
Triangular series or Quadrangular series are more interesting and I dont see why Dravid wants ODIs only for EC & CT.........
Finally Kohli: has always been superb till date. He seems to be the ideal mix between temperment and technique. Hope his honeymoon with the bat will continue winning more matches for India.

What rubbish? Kambli has performed really well before he failed. How come you compare him with Rohit, who has never performed.

Chirag, even Rohit performed well in some cases. Difference between Rohit & Kambli (ODIs) is just a matter of exactly a couple of 50s :)

hehedumbarse, you are continuing arguing for nothing :) I am not having a tribute session here to recognize each and every cricketer. Tell me frankly, can Kambli's test performance be linked to Rohit here (who is the point of discussion) who has not even played 1 test? :)
Chirag says Kambli performed really well before failing. We all know that Kambli had an excellent start in his first few tests. But how and where did he end up? Dint he waste his talent?

in fact jiju i think YOU are fuming and burning after reading what dravid has said above..:)

dravid is no longer in the team and he has no reason to praise dhoni now..but he still has done that...:)

also he has observed that it was very good that dhoni was at the other end to guide kohli in the chase...:)

so your ex fav batsman is saying dhoni is there to guide your current fav kohli in the run chase...it is clear whom he considers to be better in this situation and who will have to look up to whom...:)

reading this particular part must have really made ur blood boil...:)

how dare dravid praise dhoni even after retiring and then again saying that it is good for kohli that dhoni is there to guide him in the chase...:)

really u must be fuming and burning in general and also at your ex-fave dravid! ...:)

LOLz!:)

Sad to know that you are still fuming over me over the credit/blame I do. Your posts are growing more and more obnoxious with lot of fiction and imagination about me being sad. But how much ever you cry, I hate hyped players.

by vinay on Sep 04, 2012 12:12 AM

sachin wants to break another record of dravid ie being clean bowled maximum times.
may b, in next innings, sachin vl plead ump, so that he can b out for lbw, so he can save the ignominy of being bowled out in fourth consecutive innings.
