I understand Ganguly and Kumble going gaga over Harbhajan since they have played so many matches with him for almost a decade. But they should understand the fact that he is a spent force like MPsaab and Zaheer Khan. He cannot be the best bowler lifelong.
Ojha and Ashwin are doing a good job till date and frankly, there is no reason why their pair should be tampered! Infact, Amit Mishra is still "young" (1 year younger than Dhoni). I'd presume he will be a better bet than Bhajji.

Kumble knows that Bhajji is a greater bowler than him.
by Adaksh AA on Sep 02, 2012 09:55 PM  | Hide replies

It was Bhajji who revived Kumble's careerwhen he made a comeback @ age of 32 years...

Bhajji used to motivate Kumble by taking more wickets from the other end...

Good that Kumble realized Bhajji's worth today...

Bhajji way to go dude... take ur place

and he was very intelligent / gentleman cricketer but in case of bhajji looks like he lost it... bhajji have not done anything since being dropped from team to be included in the team again... if any kumble wants to make a case for it should have been for man with no godfather amit mishra who si rarely given chance on turning indian pitches...

CASE OF IPL DESTRUCTION
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Sep 02, 2012 07:52 PM

Having been in IPL so much which is no cricket ,as a bowler he forgot the idea of buying wickets , he was only trying to control runs .He should go to the master of the craft Prassanna and lear a few tricks.I consider him abest off spinner because he has done well out side also .Today unfortunately he has spoiled his talent so much he can not take wickets in wicked conditions of Indian pitches . Yes He serves a chance .

Bhajji's performance is so bad.....
by vathula on Sep 02, 2012 07:12 PM  | Hide replies

Bhajji has done nothing to deserve a recall- No Ranji wickets, Hardly any IPL wickets. You need Amit Mishra as the 3rd spinner.

You are a racist. Mishra is a far better choice for the 3rd spinner.

Bhaji has not proved himself despite given a chance. He last his mojo in international cricket and no belly power to show his critics are wrong. Under 19 bombay spinner Harmeet Singh would be a good choice

Mr. Iqbal, ashwin, Ojha, playing ag.. poor teams like WI/ NZ and that also at home even club level spinners would take wkts ag, them. we l c ag. England, australia. Dont compare them to Kumble, bhajji.., Chalk and Cheese so pl there are babies played only in India. Aswin failed miserably in Australia

Harbhajan, when Newzealand toured India lst time, was unable to take wickets, he was struggling to take even 2 wkts in a match, then how can be a better bowler, he has lost his farm, he was continuing in Indian team without any bowling performance for the past three years. Then how he will be included now? It is surprising that people like Ganguly and Kumble press for his inclusion. First let him perform in Ranji and other local tournaments, then based on his performance he can be taken back. Without doing anything simply he cannot be included just because he has taken 600 wickets, It should be on merit.

If club level bowlers can take wickets against poor teams like Newzealand, then how Harbhajan could not take much wickets he was struggling ,when the same Newzealand team visited here last time.

Johar, do you know Harbhajan's bowling average against Australia in Australia? 9 wickets at an average of nearly 73. Talk of chalk and cheese
