On the whole a poor show for all the IPL sides and the three respective captains.They are supposed to be such big teams with so many stars but their performance was pathetic.Somehow they seemed to lack the pride and motivation of their standing to compete and prove better than their counterparts from other T20 leagues.What comes out very strikingly is the way Dhoni seems to have lost control over youngsters like Ashwin not to talk of Gambhir or Sehwag!
I watched with admiration this fella. Seen him in some matches in the past too. A typical T 20 player. Power shots are too good. He is turning out better than Yousuf Pathan who seems to have lost some form of late.
yesterday Balaji proved once again that why he is the best fast bowler in india rt now. with this performance his selection should be mandatory for Indian team in all formats of the game.

It is a different ball game playing without pressure and with a huge score to defend. And the reverse is true for the opponents. So credit can be said to be less than half in such situation. Balaji has not performed where he was required to perform. Why blame him it is true for almost all Indian bowlers. It's a pity we have to rely on foreign bowlers in all matches for Indian teams.

Bowling disciplne is overall weak. some bowlers do well in one out of 20 matches they play. With Zaheer at the fag end of his career,boys like balaji who have good experience must show consistency
