There is no fear of losing captaincy Dhoni is doing well. He has outshone with the bat. In this match when Jadeja was getting hit for fours and sixes Dhoni very deftly bowled him one over short and asked du plassey, a non regular bowler to bowl. On the very first ball du plassey got the wicket of ambati raidu. Looking at the close finish of this match, this move can easily be seen as the turning point of the match.
compared to our top class professionals like KKR. If KKR found it difficult in South Africa, you can't expect MI or CSK to perform even against the weakest team in CL2012 like Yorkshire. Though a high calibre team, KKR lost due to rustiness. KKR will be the champion again in IPL 2013.
It is very surprising that Tendulkar refuses to play T20 for the country but is available for club matches. Some committment to the Nation for a person whose is supposedly considered for BHARAT RATNA. It is clear that at the end of the day, no one does it for the nation but for himself except of course the SOLDIER who slugs it out in SIACHIN and even sacrifices his life. We need to get our priorities right, DON'T WE?

Fully agree with you. There are so many eminent personalities in this country who deserve Bharat Ratna, who are much more deserving that Tendulkar.

There are only 15 players in national team but more than 200 places for various players in various teams. So one may be unfit for national team but still fit for Club team. Dont post comments without context !?

But the excuse he said was that he is too old to play T20 while he opted out of Indian T20 team. Now he proved he in incompetent to play T20 as he admitted.

his performance in CLT20 proved that he is not good to play for the national T20 team.We can ill afford to lose a match because of his non performance.

the reason he is not playing is because of Rahul Dravid opting out of the first T20 world cup, where he said the 3 seniors are not playing..since...the team won the world cup, Tendulkar took a stand that he doesnt want to disturb the winning combination and he felt he should give space to the younger players...if he continues to play...people question him for playing..if he decides to step aside on one format of the game, then he is questioned on his sincerity.....whether he has done it for himself or for the nation, he has played for the country and he has contributed, which needs to be respected.

Well Said. doesnt deserve Bharat ratna by any stretch. I was a Tendulkar fan once and no matters what so cslled experts might say, disappointd to say that he is just continuing to play due to his commercial commitments and nothing more.
Because of CSK win the performance of Aswin should not get unnoticed. He bowled and got thrashed in this match too having lost the match with lions with a pathetic bowling performance. Now it's time India should hire bowlers from srilanka and Pakistan

Lets not forget Aswin is a top class batter. He never fails to score runs and a better fielder and a team man. Ofcourse, he gave away runs in a match or two, but have we not seen the great Murali and Warne getting battered at times? does it mean they are not good cricketers? Let us not comment on one or two performances.. he has a long way to go and will certainly do better in future..

We are not looking for a batsman in Ashwin. He was hired as a bowler, time to get the job done!!

Aswin's performance as a batsman is of no consequence as coming at no 8 or 9 he will hardly get a fair chance to contribute. However, his bowling on other than sub continent soil is below expectation. He lost CSK match against Lions and deprived CSK of a possible semi final berth. And please don't see a Shane warne or a Murali or a Kumble or even Bhaji in Aswin so soon. It would be like counting chickens before they are hatched.
