We need to check grandparents whether gowda family migrated from tamilnadu like our beloved chief minister puratchi thalaivi Dr J Jayalalitha. In such case we are proud of Sachin being a tamilian and ofcourse a special Indian
Along with Sachin the other young talented guys such as Murali vijay, Badrinath, Ashwin like talented guys plus legends like Gavaskar, Venketragavan, VVS Lakshman, Srikanth should share the honour.

Ashwin is a good player and so was gavaskar.....but all these guys do not even come close to sachin in stature......

I agree about the Legends SUNNY,VENKAT,VVS,SRIKANTH - But youngsters can wait for couple of years. Yesterday, our BADRI played a GEM of an innings.

The WALL Dravid is from Tamilnadu, but we are proud of him- even though I am from Karnataka
Now that Order of Australia is given, can the Indian Government delay giving the Bharat Ratna to him? There is already clamour for him to him be given the BR by vested interests. One only hopes that Vishwanathan Anand, whose achievements in the sporting arena are much greater and really at the global level gets it before or at least with Tendulkar. It will be a travesty of justice if BR is given to Tendulkar before Vishy Ananda, just because OA has been conferred on him!
In the famous monkeygate episode, Australian ppls thinks that Andrew symonds is right, and indians think that Harbhajan is right, sachin was just a witness in the case and the committee has enquired and gave their decision...
remember, after the decision, Andrew symonds was selected by one of IPL team to play in india, but no indians or any indian political party had made an issue....
So Australians are getting emotional .. so grow up Since last 4-5 years, how many indian students are attacked and killed in Australia, that is not racism? shall we send back your PM over this issue?

uncle..how many biharis, NE indians, kashmiris have been shafted by their brethren in India..Indians are casteist and sub-casteist..not just racist..

See their attitude. They do not want indians to get those awards. They may give to some other country. They are jealouse of us. These words speak their attitude. So, sachin should never accept this award. IT is just like insulting an Indian. He should also appologise for this type of comment.

For heavens sake, ask him to receive the order & retire. Inspite of such gentle nudges, if he still continues to play cricket, it is an affront to these awards. Sachin, pls RETIRE at least now....
