GRV was handling Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, Joel Garner and Co. at their best.
And when GRV played, there was no sweat... all touch... it was like playing music.
Zaheer Abbas was another player who was in the same class.
Alvin Kallicharan was a treat to watch.
Badri maybe is related to you. He will never make it to even Indian Team at its worst
Rangachari, if you really want to name a Chennai player in the class or better than Yuvi, you can propose the Late T.E. Sreenivasan. He could take the class of Imran Khans to the fence whenever he wanted.

I am sorry Mr.Kathiru - U dont understand what I meant. U can talk about T.E Srinivasan or V.Sivaramakrishnan or Abdul Jabbar; That doesnot matter.
while people should praise yuvi for this double innings people also should look at the names of the bowlers against whom he scored this double hundred? howmany of those bowlers took 50/100/150 wickets? atleast 2 out of 5 bowlers? i really doubt.

ramana the same can be said about everybody...that means local scores made by sachin dravid laxman kohli pujara rajane tiwary etc. are also useless and mean nothing...
yuvraj singh should not be included in test squad at any cost just on the basis of one innings. selectors should give chances to youngsters like S Badrinath and Dinesh Kartick

i think you have not watched dinesh kartik's performance........he has had his due at the cost of some vry good players.....& tell me how much did he score......i think u wud do well as selector of a discarded eleven!!!

Yes so why is this UV innings so great then on flat pitch against Ranji bowlers when even MV hits more that UV with 266 (We are talking TEST style here)
congrates & hats off to Yuvi, i have never heard any thing wrong what formar players were saying, they never critisized Yuvi, in fact they were putting advice for his come back after prolonged gap he was forced for the cancer tratment to Yuvi & it was before srilanka series, i dont see anything wrong in it. buck-up Yuvi sachin is just waiting for you to get his place.
