That is what.. One IPl glory and suddenly you are a star... big joke... Sohail Tanvir was the biggest star in the 1st IPL much much bigger than Badri, Balaji, Aswhin, Raina etc.. Where is he now ??.. Does he command a place in Pakistan team at least 75%... ??

You're kidding, right? Chris Gayle was a pivotal member of the West Indies long before IPL even started.

Getting identified by the Indian crowd is different from having talent. These people got identified only because they have talent and they can flourish anywhere in any form of cricket.
I fully agree with Mr. Carl Hooper. Not just the IPL the format of T-20 cricket will destroy the game of cricket and the art of the sport. We must shun and discourage this form.
what rubbish sunil narine was the find of IPL no one even i think hooper knew about him before ipl anf what about gayle...he was banned by west indies board but his domination of ipl made the board think about him..where was hooper when gayle was banned...once again "sour grapes" include hooper in IPL and he will change his satement

Even today, Hooper has got the ability to bowl successfully in t-20.. He was a great cricketer and had played for the Windies at the times when they were scarce of good players.
you will realise it only when indian players will go out and play for another country's league if they pay more. and your own country suffers ! national interest should take priority ! You are representing a nation , you just cant throw everything out of the window just for the sake of money alone .
Only indian Cricketers should be allowed to play in the IPL ..not foreign players.. due to this lots of our Young players dosent get chance to perform..
Also doe to this foreign players get chance to know our Indian players strength & weaknesses..
England Gain and Lost WT20 only because of Kevin petrision, West Indis got WT20 cup only because of Gayle, it does not mean the these two teams are best than all teams, because these 2 teams riding on one single player, but team like India is not like that, that is the good team
