Kevin Malcolm Curran (7 September 1959 – 10 October 2012) was a Zimbabwean international cricketer.

I just goofed up due to similarity in the names, even the middle initials..
Kevin Curran is ever remembered for his great allround effort against India in the famous World cup match of 1983.He bagged 3 wickets during the initial indian collapse and later scores 73 runs in the chase.But all his efforts went vein in that spectacular Kapil magic.(Actually that win for India made all the difference and became an energy booster in eventually lifting the world cup.

sadly missing the recordings of this match as it is not available. Have only memories of a comentory on radio when we almost gave up the hope in the morning itself for recovering from dismal 17 per 5, forget about winning but we had KAPIL DEV - THE TRUE ALL ROUNDER.

In my personal opinion that 173 by Kapil Dev is the best innings ever played in 50 overs matches, even though someone has scored more runs...Kapil was a real great player...
