Let Kumble do his best towards Karnataka cricket and not try to propel Bhajji, Sachin, etc., cricketer's sagging careers. Let the selectors think refreshingly and not be influenced by "outside" opinions. We all cricket fans expect at least the new selection committee looks beyond the tested and proven not worthy cricketers and brings in some fresh talent to the fore.
For heaven's sake, quit please! It's pathetic to see u struggling against ageing with diminished vision, reflexes, coordination, etc., etc., Accept the grave reality and pleeeeeeeease quit and give opportunity for an youngster to take over the reins. Do not imagine on your own that, India needs you and the whole batting responsibility lies on your (ageing) shoulders. It's not true! Of late, you only have become a liability to the team than of any value. This has been hinted to you enough already by the team management in umpteen number of ways. Do not be insensitive all such hints and stretch your fading career any further. It'll only do more damage than any good. Your averages will no more look respectable if you play any further. Quit gracefully please! We'll worship you. Else, a day is not far off when the same cricket fans who cheered you on coming in to bat, boo you and please save your fading image.

99% of reserved people do not carry on their duties at all in govt. offices. They're responsible for most of the corruption at lower level.

One applicant with 10 Diplomas & Degrees like MA,MCom,MBA(correspondence),PGDip-Mktg.Mgmt etc.;another one with a CA or PGDM from IIM-now who will get more salary offers from MNCs? Sachin may have scored 100 International 100s but most of them came against weak teams or in in-consequential matches. Even his 100th ton was against Bangladesh and that too for a losing cause? His highest test score was against Bangladesh.Laxman's 281 at Kolkata was ranked 2nd best Test knock by Wisden in the 21st century.Not even one of Sachin's knocks was found worthy of mentioning in the list.A Richards with a test ave of just over 50 is what cricket purists would luv to see than Sachin at his douring stay at the crease.Sachin's dismissals since year 2000 was either caught by keeper or in slips, lbw or bowled which means his foot work is tentative.If you want quantity, go for Sachin but those who like quality (like me), there are players like Lara,Hasim Amla,Dravid, Laxman, Kevin Peterson et.al.Gavaskar retired after scoring a majestic 96 on an unplayable track against Pak but Sachin goes on & on, after seeing India lose 8 overseas tests on the trot.Lara once scored a brillant 150 in the 4th innings in the company of Courtney Walsh(who has the dubious distinction of max. ducks in Test cricket)& won the test that too against the then World No.1. This is what is class is all about.An average player with mediocre performance when the team needed him the most,well, Sachin is a selfish
Many ppl became champs after their entered the international arena, but this guy entered with so much promise and he lived upto it almost entire his career.
