True sportsmen... West Indies...
by Rohit Maroli on Oct 06, 2012 06:54 AM  | Hide replies

Very happy for the west indies cause of few things
1) Their cricketers are some of the strongest and powerful athletes over the years but never have they ever abused batsmen....nor give sharp words...or nast glances (like most australians )
2)Carrabean style needs revival and it feels so enjoyable to watch their brand of cricket...
3) A strong west Indies is extremely imp in world cricket.....
4) The arrogance of australians and Ian chappel and co...needed to be thrashed and wat a tharshing tey got....Gayle ur possibly the greatest striker the game has or will ever see !!!

CG certainly has a claim to being the greatest stiker of a cricket ball in present era. About all time greats, there are many including Clyde Walcott, Garfield Sobers and Normal ONeill.

True. Wonderful display by Gayle and WI team. Aussies got what they deserve. It will be nice to see two teams which earned their place in finals by their commitment and hard work.

Whoever wins they deserve it, since it is because of their commitment to the game.

True. Indians have no right to blame Aussies because India lost the crucial tie against Aus due to MSD keeping out Viru.

DHONI WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT
by prajyoth pradeep on Oct 06, 2012 12:22 AM  | Hide replies

Dhoni was absolutely right when he said that the rain spoiled India's chances. He was right as the rain indeed did not give the spinners grip and control and they bowled way too short and the Australian openers capitalized. Australia did not deserve to be in the semis as the rain helped them first against West Indies and then against India. Australia were exposed badly today. They were riding on a false sense of superiority form Shane Watson's performances.
Congratulations to the West Indies Team.

Disagree..u dnt win world cups with club class...bowlers like pathan , balaji, chawla ,kohli and yuvraj....put them against west indies or srilanka...and tey will be thrashed..just like how australia thrashed them.....these are club class bowlers...look at mitchel stark....pat cummins...saeed ajmal..hasan raza...umar gul...lasith malinga....sunil narine....and abt virender sehwag....he is highly inconsistent and overrated....pls look at the figures...and he doesnt contribute in bi matches....pls go and watch the 2011 final too !!

If MSD has any shame he should admit that India lost because of his decision of not playing Viru.
