It is a general rule in cricket that when some one from England, Australia or Srilanka do something illegal or against the spirit of the game, they will claim it is a valid one and there is nothing wrong about that. But, the same guys will say "against the spirit of the game" if something done by Indian players (even though it is within the rules of the game). For e.g. Jaywardane murmers when Ashwin mankaded Thirimanne in a ODI match. Lof incidents, Vaughan murmers when Indians claim for Handling the ball. Ricky Ponting claims ganguly out when Clarke took the catch on bounce during the sydney test.

Another example would be the last match between Pak vs Aus. Everyone knows why Australia lost that game.

Clarke catch of Saurav was clean. Saurav was never a walker ,even when big edges were taken. He would always stay there to cause confusion for umpires. Espn showed the catch in many replays in the post show in that game and anyone who saw will agree with ian chappell who said it was clean. not even chappell is needed .eyes tell you the truth, Different matter that umpire benson was horrible he should have consulted tv umpire not aus captain then, ricky was asked by benson and he said clarke catch was clean

To add another thing Saurav as captain falsely claimed a one bounce catch of Gilly in WC finals of 2003. Gilly was going strong then but nowdays the same Saurav will advocate fair play
