its okay to lose a match, but its ridiculous to lose 1 match and be out of tournament, rules and behaviour of other teams should be kept under close eye as bloody aussies do everything to win.
Dhoni should have known that in the net run rate scenario Sehwag was important member.
After sitting out for the game against the Oz the atmosphere in the dressing room must have been awkward for Sehwag and the rest of the players. Imagine Sachin or Dravid sitting out in a Test match.
In team dynamics, the question for all the players was: WHY DROP HIM?
Captains cannot get along with everyone but maintaining team cohesiveness is the job of the captain which he failed to do.
Gambhir's performance was also affected and they were all asking the same question : WHY?
India's super 8 performance as a team dropped. In team pychology the performance of players gets disrupted and issues like morale, motivation and faith surfaces.
It may not happen but Dhoni should be held responsible and dropped. The chronic problem of a strong opening pair in all formats was destroyed in the present and future.
If not for Rohit Sharma, other players would have got a chance and won the game for us...over and over again Rohit proved that he cannot perform in big stages and misfit for any format of game..talented players like Rahane, Dhawan and Manoj Tiwari are not getting any chances due to No-hit sharma...Dhoni is the main culprit for politics and favoritism of his own players. so Dhoni should be removed first for benefit of Indian cricket.

yep. This is not a bad tournament. But hope they start winning test matches in fast pitches. Unless they win test matches against Ausies/England/SA in their home ground they wont get the confidence.
Cricket is a dying game.. ICC knows the distribution properly. Well it will go to a country where inspiration needs to build up or they wud loose another country from hardly few. Any guesses?

I mean to say the world cup... its destined to go to get the spirit of cricket up, so to get people in that country attracted
he is correct, if india had same team or better like SA /
if india had same team or better team against Auz like we had for SA. our win was sure. We need to consider Zaheer and tendulkar according to t20 reflexes. Irfan is off and on, Gambhir is off and on, so bring in rahane, yadav, etc.
a captain who says he was satisfied with the performance of the team when they had to go out before the semi finals shows that he is not fit to be a captain and that winning the tournament was not in his mind . otherwise he would defenitely have been disappointed with the team's performance . again the lack of imaginativeness is shown when he says , in a crunch match where he had to restrict the SA team to 121 or less, he opted to go through the first 6 overs and then attack the SA line up rather than attacking from the start . his brain cells could not be activated even after seeing how pakistan attacked australia right from the word 'go'. There is absolutely no aggression in his tactics when required the most .These are some of the instances to show that we need a more positive , energetic and imaginative captain and ofcourse throw out the old bag of a coach we have . I dont even remember his name . He is so insignificant in the Indian team's performance .
