David Whatmore the Australian coach of Pakistan wanted to give poison to Shane Watson the media reported the previous day. Thankfully he didn't but instead he certainly seemed to have kept something in the Paviliion the Way Shane Watson,David warner,Bailey and other aussie batters looked to be in a tearing hurry to return to pavillion ! It was an interesting battle of wits going on between them and the umpires who wouldn't give them out LBW which they seemed to be challenging by repeatedly playing across the ‘line’ and sweeping again and again. Finally the umpires gave up and gave them LBW on their 2nd or 3rd attempt by batters like Watson,Warner,Bailey etc. Thereafter it was just the target of 112 which mattered to them which Hussey managed to achieve and then jumped as if he had won the T20 WC ! These are supposed to be very “sporting” fellow Australians of Don Bradman for you with reputation known to fight for a win till the last ball ! Given this background ICC must ensure such things do not damage reputation of the game in future by holding matches simultaneously or ‘head to head wins’ as criteria for securing berths in the semis. Of course this is no excuse for India not to make it to the semis for which they have to blame themselves to a large extent.
One can go any length to argue about Aus cleverly losing the game. It can never be proved even if there was an attempt made by the Aussies.
ICC should revert to the use of head-to-head match result in the same round as the first criteria for tie breaks, before considering Net Run Rate. Otherwise the last round matches should start at the same time to make the adjustments more difficult.

No point blaming australia for india problems. Australia had not qualified till then so they had to make 112 to qualify. It is perfect for them that they think what is needed for them. anyway aus would have preferred indian bowling over pak bowlers any day .

Yes, one can not blame Aussies, but the Indian team and its captain. Nobody will give anything on a platter. Whether it was fixed or not, true champions will not have any issues. WI of the 80's and Aus of the Warne-McGrath era would win against all opposition, whether fixed or otherwise. The current Indian team is not having the class of a chmpion team.

Jocke of century, austalia avoid facing india. Australia almost toyed with india few days before. Don t blame Australia if we indians dont have balanced team. Even india had the chance if do could have bowled like pakistani spinners and restrict south africa with in 121.
India today has good for nothing proud captain Mr.Dhoni .Its high time we get some good captain like Mr.virat kolhi & take under 19 captain chand in team. Its sad we take people like Harbhajan singh in Team and make themssit out. Its better we kick on Mr.Dhoni for India good success in future.

Pathetic indian bowling and even worse pakistani batting next match against lanka they will not be able to make even 100.
