Tale of two greats
by S M on Dec 01, 2012 02:10 PM

Ponting said if he is unable to help team win, he should retire. Sachin implies, as long as I enjoy the game or my body supports, I will play. Interesting perspectives eh?

the pseudo great ,so called destroyer of bowlers , so called great influence in the dressing room does not have the technique , even after 23 years , to face the bowling of ordinary bowlers like Panesar & ravi Rampaul. Yet he is called the greatest batsman ( though by a handful few in india only).yuck.

dependent. huh
by sachin critic on Dec 01, 2012 01:49 PM

india team was never dependent on him. he always failed to deliver in crunch situations.

it is people like kumble , gavaskar , shastri et al who have been saying that india was solely dependent on him.
always thrived in conducive situations & always failed when needed.

kumble.
by sachin critic on Dec 01, 2012 01:44 PM  | Hide replies

is kumble suggesting that game of cricket or for that matter country is above the individual.
He is not performing , yet keep him in the team . why.
kumble is in the same category as the great airbag.successful at home , failure abroad.

A Mutual Admiration Club: It's members - Mr. Anil Kumble, Mr. SR Tendulkar, Mr Rahul Dravid. They seem to believe that the entire Indian Cricket revolves around the. Ridiculous comments, Mr. Kumble.

Mr. Kumble can try his luck as a lawyer. He is trying his best to plead his friend's case.

No wonder
by Yogesh Hasabnis on Dec 01, 2012 12:52 PM  | Hide replies

Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid showing their true colours with their recent comments about Mr. SRT, which tend towards hypocrisy and sycophancy. One has to say that Indian cricket should consider itself fortunate that these two gentlemen didn't lead Indian cricket for too long. No wonder that SOurav Ganguly proved to be a much much better captain than these two men.

Playing like Mr. Kumble ? You mean take tons of wickets on Indian under-prepared dustbowls and failing miserably overseas ?
