A cricketer should not expect the same pitch, where he pratcised, to be everywhere.Instead he should ake it as a challenge and mould accordingly.How did England won?Was the pitch made using the mud imported from England.Don't they face the same challenge as you did?Stop giving lame excuses and be ready for the next match.
Doesnt deserve to comment.. he is neither an intellectual, nor a great player.. he was lucky in the sense his captiancy coincided with the peaks of Dravid, Laxman, so india managed a few wins abroad.. other than that he was tactically naive , lacking any cricketing sense..
He is fool. Ask him not to comment. What he has done in 2003 world cup. After winning the toss he has called Australia to bat first in a batting track. India has lost the final because of him.
Sourav Ganguly is always great as a player, as a captain,as a anchor in reality TV show ( DADAGIRI and "Koun banega crorerpati" in Bengali) now as a commentator and critic also. He is a born leader.

He is Born leader or not is a different issue but surely he was a good captain, a good batsman and now a good commentator.
