a quick analysis of the series!
by sanjay agarwal on Nov 26, 2012 02:10 PM

lets take a quick overview of last both test matches. In both test matches, from India only 1 batsman showed consistent performance and promise- Pujara. While from England, 2 batsman Cook and Peterson showed performance and promise and the runs made by both of them exceeds other englands batsmen total. So India's batsmen let India down. Secondly, in First test match England only had Swann as spinner while India had 2 spinners. In second test match England had panesar also and they both put together took wickets far ahead than all 3 spinners of our team.
Finally as a final analysis-
1-Apart from Pujara, Indian batsmen failed mostly.
2-All Indian spinner were mostly ineffective against Cook and Peterson.

Final verdict-It was Cook and Peterson who made england win the match.

DHONI/FLETCHER COMMITTED MISTAKE IN BRINGING IN HARBHAJAN. HE IS USELESS AND PRACTICALLY WE WERE LEFT WITH 3BOWLERS. SANDEEP PATIL & HIS TEAM SHOULD DROP THIS GUY FOR GOOD.

Dhoni is useless batsman , whenever he is required to stay on crease and score he fails the team .. useless as captain ..

Debutant Faf Du Plessis stayed in the crease for more than 7 hrs and ensured a draw against Australia. His shameless CSK team mates Dhoni and Ashwin, grandpa Sachin, uncle Sehwag, son of Sardar failed miserably. India does nt deserve to be in the top 5 test playing nations

Everybody talking only of the symptoms nobody about the illness..

Everybody is talking about the players bad performance (mainly that of Sachin, Sehwag and Dhoni), but these performances are only the symptoms.. The real illness lies within the Coach of the team Duncan Fletcher..
When Greg Chappel coached the team, Sachin had a bad time (2006 was the worst year of his career), Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly also failed miserably, but as soon as he left.. India started to win again and went on to become the world champions of T20s, then Tests and finally ODI's..
In 2007, after Chappel was sacked as the coach on India, a coachless India went on a tour of England and won the Test series quite comfortably...
Guess who was the coach of England in 2007???
yess.. It was none other than DUNCAN FLETCHER

Lets compare the before and after of a particular person named Duncan Fletcher..
BEFORE Duncan Fletcher became the coach of India, India was the no.1 test team, the world champions in ODI's and a pretty formidable T20 side..
After Duncan Fletcher became the coach of India, India lost 8 test matches in a row in England and Australia (and that too with big margins some as big as an innings and 300 odd runs), India failed to reach the finals of any ODI tournament where more than 2 test teams participated, including that of the Asia Cup where they were beaten by Bangladesh!!!, the T20 side is now one of the weakest in the world and even the teams like Afghanistan provide a formidable opposition to it..

on the other hand, when Fletcher coached England, they were one of the weakest Test, ODI and T20 teams, having lost the ashes 5-0, losing to teams like West Indies in England in the ODI series and performing badly in T20s..
After Fletcher left the England team, they became the T20 world champions, no.1 test team winning the ashes in Australia for the 1st time in 30 odd years, and also one of the strongest ODI teams..

Any sane person can say that the first thing Team India should do is to SACK DUNCAN FLETCHER

by Shri Hegde on Nov 26, 2012 01:44 PM

played. Our team is better at gambling with IPL. Now that England defeated in our back yard, I expect the series to be desrvingly tied. The test cricket is the winner!
