Now what is 'EXTRA' about CRICKET EXTRA being dished out by Star sports ?Dhoni included three spinners but it were the Englishmen who were able to get wickets in buckets but our spinners were seen struggling !Shouldn't there be incisive analysis by likes of Gavaskar in the so called CRICKET EXTRA which should rather be named CRICKET FILLERS dishing out replays of highlights,fours, sixes,most expensive bowler and so on.The 'touch screen' stuff by s/Hughes is the only saving grace of the program me otherwise it is a total trash. The Hindi version is somewhat better on ‘analysis’ part.To-day after the game what everyone were looking for first was a complete dissection of the three spinners---how each one of them bowled…, who was the best… when Englishmen were getting so much turn/wickets why our spinners were struggling. But nothing of that sort was discussed..Only all goody-gooddys....homilies…thank you..just timidly ending the programme. Why can’r Gavaskar or Shane Warne tell us in CE what went wrong and what they should do tomorrow. This way it is better to switch off the TV after the match. Why waste time on replays or CRICKET FILLERS in the name of CRICKET EXTRA ?
