Modi is a one-man army and he is taking on the most corrupt sports administration of the world – BCCI. Look at how ridiculous the Board’s policies are. They have banned international news agencies from covering the India-England Test series because the agencies have refused, and rightly so, to cough up crores rupees as ‘production fees’.
Everyone knows that Modi created IPL out of vacuum. The money that IPL churned out has always been pocketed by the BCCI. According to projections, the IPL will mint 2 billion dollars in 10 years from the date of its first edition and BCCI is the sole beneficiary. Modi crafted something of tremendous value and it has put India on the world map. Let’s have a heart!
Look at what is happening to IPL ever since Modi’s exit. The BCCI is having a hard time in remodelling the League. Shane Warne's Rajasthan Royals and the Kings XI Punjab, who had been thrown out following Modi's forced fall from grace, won court battles and had to be re-inducted... a slap in the BCCI face. Today, Hyderabad Deccan Chargers are dead and buried and the Board is still huffing and puffing in search of a new team. Kochi has already been dusted. Sponsors are having second thoughts. Advertisements have taken a dip. It’s not looking bright at all.
He brought the pitch and the men to walk on it. Touched our souls and heartbeat with each stroke". Time for the Lion to complete the Circle of our lives and return to land where it all started.

Cricket has been played globally for over 100 years, IPL and Indian cricket is liveless without Lalit Modi.
Modi has provided the Income tax and ED officials with every explanation that they seek in connection with the violation of foreign exchange regulations but I wonder why he has not been charged as yet... Isn’t it more than 2 years now? When will the witch hunt end?
The way the Government is treating Modi is contemptible. He is haunted by his own people... and for what? For creating something that the others are today feeding on? The IPL that the BCCI so proudly flaunts is Modi’s baby, let’s not forget! Why are the top BCCI officials not under the scanner? After all, the finances have always been controlled by them. Making Modi a scapegoat is a poor reflection of the running of the Board.

Lalit Modi fashioned the hottest League in the world and it has been causing indigestion to a lot of people... jealousy knows no bounds! He has been consumed by his own revolution. Funny thing is, nothing has been proven against the ex-commissioner but the hullabaloo doesn’t cease to exist. Just imagine... the EPL clubs struggle to break even... most of the clubs are in debt, but every franchise in the IPL made millions, helping many lesser-known cricketers find a footing. It’s a shame to force him to leave his home soil.

Lalit Modi is the steve jobs of India, board may have ousted him of apple/IPL but he is sure to come back. Lalit Modi did for cricket in 4 years what BCCI didn’t do in over 30 years.Because of Lalit Modi and IPL, Sachin doesn’t need to go to England and play county cricket, there players come here and play for Indian IPL.
